Die Geschichte: Isa (25) ist Influencerin. Sie steht für Fitness, Lifestyle und natürliche Ernährung, vor allem aber für nackte Haut. 1,5 Mio Follower auf Instagram. Dumm nur, dass sie mit illegalen Sportler-Substanzen auffliegt, denn das raubt ihr nicht nur ihre Authentizität, sondern sorgt auch für einen dramatischen Karriereknick.

Sie verliert ihre Follower, ihre Jobs, ihr Geld, die Wohnung. Ihre letzte Zuflucht ist das Air Bnb-Zimmer ihrer Hipster-Schwester Rika. Isa muss ihren Blog wieder aufbauen, denn etwas anderes hat sie nicht gelernt..

Während einer morgendlichen Joggingrunde bekommt sie zufällig den Selbstmordversuch von Esther (26) mit.

Sie schafft es, die Rollstuhlfahrerin zu retten und will nun Esthers Vorgeschichte herausfinden: Wie kam es zu dem Suizidversuch und was steckt dahinter?

Sie erfährt, dass Esther Opfer eines Autounfalls wurde. Der Fahrer ist flüchtig.

Isa ist im Dilemma - einerseits eignet sich Esthers Schicksal perfekt für einen Karriereneustart innerhalb der Agentur des erfolgreichen und charmanten Kamil, andererseits begreift sie sowohl durch Rika und Esther, als auch durch den charismatischen Noah, der nicht der Loser ist, für den Isa ihn anfangs hält: Was im Leben zählt, ist nicht die Followerzahl auf Instagram ...

1,5 million followers on Instagram.

Too bad that she gets busted with illegal substances for athletes, robbing her of authenticity - a dramatic decline in her career.

She loses her followers, her job, money, her apartment. Isa’s last refuge is her sister Rika's Airbnb room.

Now she has to rebuild her blog - that’s all she knows.

During a morning run she stumbles across Esther’s ( 26) suicide attempt. She manages to rescue the wheelchair bound girl and wants to know more about Esther and the reason for the attempted suicide.

So she learns that Esther was the victim of a hit and run car accident, unveils Esther’s story and finds the hit and run driver.

It is Ernst Sassen, a distinguished surgeon who was intoxicated at the time and did not even realise that he hit Esther. Until he encounters his own victim Esther in the emergency room.

This is a massive predicament for Isa.

On one hand, Esther's story makes the perfect career opportunity in - the successful and charming - Kamil’s agency.

On the other hand she realises through both Rika, Esther and Noah - a charismatic guy whom she initially and wrongly considered to be a complete loser - that the meaning of life cannot be measured by the money one makes.

And certainly not by the number of followers on Instagram ..
